R. Kelly is now back behind bars for his failure to pay his child support.
Kelly was detained by the Cook County sheriff in IL and will be transported to the county jail on Wednesday evening, sheriff's department spokesperson Sophia Ansari told NPR.
A spokesperson for the Cook County Sherriff's Office confirms to ET that the 52-year-old singer is being transported to Cook County Jail to be booked. His next hearing was scheduled for March 13.
Kelly was released from jail a little more than a week ago after being indicted on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The second part of Kelly's interview will air Thursday morning on CBS.
Savage and Clary's full interview airs Friday.
House Democrats Launch Wide-Ranging Trump Investigations
Trump and Putin met privately in Helsinki in July for more than two hours with only interpreters present. It is unclear how many will eventually be called in for interviews.
His attorney entered not guilty pleas in that case for him, and on CBS, Kelly demonstratively maintained he is innocent.
He and the girl allegedly seen with him denied they were in the 27-minute video, even though the picture quality was good and witnesses testified it was them.
But the dangers of such an interview might outweigh any benefits if Kelly locked himself into a particular defense, Thiagarajah said. At one point, he stood towering over a calm King, literally shrieking, crying, pounding his fists and beating his chest on camera while a handler held him back.
The Savage family said Kelly brainwashed their daughter and another woman who is living with them. Y'all trying to kill me! She said "I love you too", then asked her mother, Jonjelyn Savage, be put back on the phone. This thing's not about music. "Do you hear me?"
In a follow-up tweet, Avenatti addressed the emotion that Kelly shows in the interview: "R. Kelly's tears are out of fear and despair". Publicist Darrell Johnson said Kelly had hoped to provide a portion of the amount at the hearing, but was taken into custody and back to jail after he was unable to pay.
"I didn't do this stuff. It's not fair", Kelly also tells King during the interview. The couple said they haven't spoken to their 23-year-old daughter for two years and asked Kelly to make her available to talk to them. He also intimated that the parents had received some kind of compensation from him.
Clary's parents in a statement on Wednesday denied ever getting money from Kelly. But some attorney's, like Brenda Derouen, saw the interview and thought, "What is R. Kelly doing?" HollywoodLife has reached out to R. Kelly's team about these allegations but we have yet to receive a response from either him or Joycelyn.
