The escalating tensions between Russian Federation and Ukraine off the coast of Crimea have spilled over into football with UEFA deciding to relocate Arsenal's Europa League tie against FC Vorskla Poltava on Thursday to Kiev following the introduction of martial law in some parts of Ukraine.
Vorskla themselves then made some suggestions the game would not go ahead.
"I would like to say a lot about this", he said.
"We were preparing very much and it was expected to be like a holiday".
UEFA confirmed on Thursday that the Group E match will be played in Kiev as planned.
"The city really lost a holiday".
