The PM, while responding to the allegations leveled against him that the arrest of Shahbaz Sharif was a kind of political victimisation, said NAB (National Accountability Bureau) was not under his command, it is an independent organisation, and it was also summoning him in a case, he added.
A Pakistani court on Saturday said it would allow the country's anti-graft body to hold opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif for 10 days to interrogate him about alleged links to a multi-million dollar housing scam, his party said.

Senate To Take Decisive Vote On Kavanaugh Amid Protest From Democrats
His behavior then also revealed his "deep distress at the unfairness of how this allegation has been handled", Kavanaugh said. Senator Joe Manchin, the only remaining undecided Democrat , said he would finish reading the report this morning.

The inquiry conducted by the anti-graft watchdog states that Shehbaz, as the chief minister of Punjab, unlawfully assumed powers of Board of Directors of Punjab Land and Development Company (PLDC), misused his authority and acted in connivance with Fawad Hassan Fawad who at the time was Implementation Secretary to Punjab CM.
"The fashion in which Shehbaz has been arrested is tantamount to humiliating the entire parliament", said Khursheed Shah, a PPP parliamentarian and former opposition leader.
PML-N leader Rana Sana Ullah termed the arrest as a "political victimization", saying that they will use their legal rights to defend their leader as there is no solid proof against him.
Only last week, the two parties had announced their decision to field joint candidates in the Oct 14 by-elections.
The Center-left Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also condemned Shehbaz's arrest.
