Most of the changes in Chrome version 69 are small quality-of-life tweaks, some of which are so subtle you might not even notice as part of Chrome's new design. First up, Chrome has a new look with more rounded shapes, new icons and a new color palette across platforms. It's tough to imagine another browser coming along and representing as much of a sea change as Chrome did in 2008-but then again, few people outside of Google would have predicted that the company had an opportunity to shake up the browser market as much as Chrome did.
Google Chrome now has improved password management experience. This password will be saved in the built-in password manager so that the next time you visit that site it automatically fills the account credentials. When it's time to create a new password, Chrome will now generate one for you (so you're not using your puppy's name for all of your passwords anymore). The Omnibox will also enable you to search Google Drive in the near future.
In the Search bar, you'll now get answers to some questions that you type out without having to open a new tab. For example, if you're a person who loves to have lots of tabs open, you can still do that, but the icons for websites are more clearly visible when you have an vast amount of tabs open.
So you'll be able to get lavish results on celebrities, cultural events, weather info and more straight from the Omnibox.
The New Tab Page now offers quick access to features such as Bookmarks and Reading Lists, while the Chrome icon on iOS now offers shortcuts when you use 3D Touch. It also updated its tabs to make it harder to lose track of a site if you have a bunch open. Already, we're working on integrating augmented reality (AR) into Chrome to bring information that you interact with across the web and put directly into your physical environment.
You can now search for a specific tab within the Omnibox, useful for when you're inundated with tabs too small to read.
Nadal feeling fortunate after edging Thiem in thriller
At Wimbledon, Nadal came back from two sets to one down to win in five in a quarter-final which stretched to nearly five hours. But once again Nadal stepped up the level, saved two break points in the game and then went on to claw back to 4-4.
