Irish actor Alan O'Neill, who appeared in hit USA show Sons of Anarchy, has died aged 47, according to reports.
The publication also claimed the Sons of Anarchy star suffered from heart problems and was a heavy smoker. "My thoughts are with his partner, family and children at this time". No foul play is suspected.
In light of his death, some of O'Neill's former co-workers have shared messages via social media.

A rep for O'Neill reportedly confirmed to People Magazine that he has passed away, and that his girlfriend found him unconscious at her apartment on Wednesday.
O'Neill appeared in Seasons 6 and 7 of Sons of Anarchy as the recurring character Hugh. "May he rest in peace", Walsh added. Alan O'Neill battled many demons in his life.
