President Trump tried out his own midterm playbook Tuesday at a campaign rally in Tennessee by ramping up his rhetoric on illegal immigration and gang-related crimes. "They're gonna pay for the wall, and they're going to enjoy it", the president went on to claim.

On his prized southern US border wall - which he's struggled to get congressional funding for - Trump promised the crowd that "in the end Mexico's gonna pay for the wall", implying it would be done via renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Trump said one of those surrogates who appeared with Clinton on the campaign trail was rapper Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. "Sincerely, Mexico (all of us)", Pena Nieto wrote in English. Corker once said Trump had turned the White House into an "adult daycare centre" and the president tweeted that Corker "couldn't get elected dogcatcher in Tennessee".
Tennessee has a history of electing centrist senators and the race could be complicated by Corker's up-and-down relationship with Trump. On Twitter, he said the "13 Angry Democrats" on Mueller's team "will be MEDDLING with the mid-term elections, especially now that Republicans (stay tough!) are taking the lead in Polls".
This comes as GOP Senate hopeful candidate Marsha Blackburn is set to face off in the August primaries.
"That is what you call getting the job done", Mrs. Blackburn said.
Trump remains popular in Tennessee after winning the state during his presidential campaign in 2016. "They do nothing for us".
